Give it a home.

Download the preview, open the ZIP, and move CornerWheel.app into your Applications folder. Then double-click to open it.

CornerWheel.app
Applications

Keep the app here so macOS can recognize it when you grant access.

Look up, in the menu bar.

CornerWheel’s Settings opens on first launch. After that, use the CornerWheel icon in your Mac’s menu bar to find Settings…. The app has no Dock icon.

02

Let your windows connect.

Accessibility access lets CornerWheel find your windows and bring the one you choose to the front.

  1. In CornerWheel Settings, find Permissions and click Request beside Accessibility.
  2. Click System Settings and enable CornerWheel in the macOS permission list. Authenticate if your Mac asks.
  3. Return to CornerWheel Settings and click Recheck permission. You’re ready when the status says Granted.

Not quite in the flow?

Nothing happens when I hover in the corner.+

Check that Accessibility shows Granted and Enable CornerWheel is on in Settings. Use your selected corner and activation display; the defaults are bottom left and main display only. Open a few normal app windows, then try Show Switcher from the menu-bar menu.

I opened the app, but can’t find it.+

Look for the CornerWheel icon in your Mac’s menu bar. CornerWheel doesn’t appear in the Dock. Click its menu-bar icon and choose Settings… to get back to the controls.

Accessibility still says Needed.+

Use the System Settings button in CornerWheel’s Permissions section and check that CornerWheel is enabled. Return and click Recheck permission. If it still says Needed, quit and reopen the installed app. A changed app signature after an update may require granting access again.

Some of my windows are missing.+

Check Excluded applications and Include minimized windows in Settings. Minimized windows are excluded by default. Window availability can also vary by app, Space, and fullscreen mode.

The Dock or a macOS Hot Corner gets in the way.+

If a system Hot Corner uses the same location, choose the other bottom corner in CornerWheel Settings. The Dock may still reveal at its screen edge. CornerWheel leaves your Dock and system Hot Corner settings unchanged.

You’re right around the corner.

A hover, a scroll, and back to what matters.

Meet CornerWheel.
